Below are two of the abilities that I should develop as a computing student and I should aim to acquire during my course:
1. Exhibit practical and transferable skills, including relevant approaches to group activity
- The statement speaks for itself. What I aim to achieve during my course is the skills to implement and demonstrate the concepts or the knowledge I have, in a practical way. And another thing that I've prioritized highly is gaining transferable skills, as in skills that can be used in different times and places. And possessing different skills to make a positive impact while being involved in a group activity, is one of its examples.
2. Deploy appropriate theory, practices and tools to analyse, specify, design, implement and evaluate computer- based systems, including trade-offs and quality attributes of a chosen solution
- As a computing student, not only do I want to enhance my coding skills, but also the creativity to use all the skills I have in the best possible way. I some day wish to be good enough to make the best decisions in every aspect to minimize the effects of trade-off, be it implementing the most appropriate theory, using the most appropriate tools and designs, and so on.
